Meetings

Madison Babywearing holds one weekday and one weekend meeting per month, along with additional outreach events and smaller workshops.

The larger meetings are formatted with:

  1. Sign-ins
  2. Introductions of volunteers and meeting attendees
  3. A brief demo
  4. Information on lending library check-outs and memberships
  5. Small group and one-on-one instruction / carrier support
  6. Lending library check-outs and membership sign-ups in the final 30 minutes of the meeting

Meetings rotate locations around Madison to best meet the needs of our meeting attendees. We tend to hold meetings at public libraries or space donated by local businesses and non-profit organizations.  If you have a space recommendation for our group’s leadership (use must be free of charge, and able to accommodate at least 30 adults and their children), please contact us with the information; we are always looking to reach new neighborhoods and areas of our community.

Volunteer Babywearing Educators provide education and hands-on support during our meetings.
